About the Journal
The Boletín Epidemiológico Semanal (BES) is addressed to those persons, Organizations or Institutions related to the field of public health and epidemiological surveillance. Its main objectives are to publish useful information for public health professionals, and to disseminate the information already consolidated from the National Epidemiological Surveillance Network to these professionals as well as to the reporting sources of the System (primary and specialized care professionals, physicians, microbiologists, nursing staff, etc.). Therefore, the BES will consider for publication those works related to Public Health, paying special attention to those dealing with the Surveillance and Prevention of communicable diseases.
It is a periodical publication whose contents can be consulted free of charge.
