About the Journal
The Boletín Epidemiológico Semanal (BES) is addressed to those persons, Organizations or Institutions related to the field of Public Health and Epidemiological Surveillance. It is a free periodical publication, edited by the National Epidemiology Center (CNE) whose main objectives are to publish useful information for Public Health professionals, and to disseminate consolidated information from the National Epidemiological Surveillance Network to these professionals, as well as to the reporting sources of the System (primary and specialized health care professionals, medical personnel, microbiology specialists, nursing personnel, etc.).
The BES in its current format began to be published in 1979.
The bulletin will consider for publication those papers that are related to Public Health, paying special attention to those dealing with Surveillance and Prevention of communicable diseases, as well as epidemiological studies on health problems, outbreak studies, mortality studies, etc.
